Cecil Gallois studies at CNR Nantes and CMBV. He works there with V. Dumestre, P. Cohen-Akenine, T. Koopman. He works in France and abroad (recitals of English and Italian Baroque music in Japan). He sings with L. Equilbey, J. Correas, H. Reyne, Christophe Rousset. He sang at the Théâtre du Châtelet in The Vespers of the Virgin of Monteverdi (J.C. Spinosi). He sang as a soloist with E. Haim.
With Company Manque pas d’airs, he played the roles of the Enchantress and the Spirit and conducted the choruses in Didon and Aeneas Purcell in 2011, the role of Eccliticco in “Il Mondo della Luna” by J. Haydn in 2012.
With the ensemble Les Monts du Reuil, he played the role Pierrot in Cinderella, at the Opéra Comique, the role of Guillot in Les 2 chasseurs and the dairy, the role of Blaise, in Dr Sangrado de Laruette and Anseaume and in the Reims opera in 2013. In 2014, he took on the role of Blondineau in Philidor’s The Magic Soldier, and participated as a soloist in the Golgota show of Bartabas. Since 2011, he has directed the a cappella vocal ensemble Tarentula, with which he participated in the Utrecht Festival in 2012, which was received in residence at the City of Voice in Vezelay in August 2014, and which was selected to participate in the semifinals of the international competition Van Wassenear in Utrecht in 2014. It is in December 2015, the forensic physician in the creation of Juan Pablo Carreno La Digitale at the Marseille Opera with Musicatreize directed by R. Hayrabedian.
