Xavier de Lignerolles
After studying violin at the age of 6, Xavier de Lignerolles joined Pierre Mervant’s singing class at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris.
He perfected himself in baroque music alongside Kenneth Weiss, in lied and melody alongside Jeff Cohen and Anne le Bozec, as well as in contemporary repertoire with Graciane Finzi and received his DFS de Chant in June 2010.

He regularly collaborates with the Ensemble Musicatreize, directed by Roland Hayrabedian.
His repertoire also extends to the oratorio: it has been heard in Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, Mozart’s Requiem, Puccini’s Messa di Gloria, the Small Solemn Mass and Rossini’s Stabat Mater or, more recently , the Evangelist.
He participates in Masterclasses of Nathalie Stutzmann, Michael Levinas, Franck Leguerinel, Malcolm King, Maarten Koningsberger, Jean-Philippe Lafont. He is now perfecting with Lionel Sarrazin.
