Mon Ami le vent

Zad Moultaka Musical Premiere “Mon Ami le vent” took place in Stockholm-Sweden in the Maria Magdalena Church on January 25, 2020 commissioned by Radiokören & Sveriges Radios Symfoniorkester, Berwaldhallen. Conductor Justin Doyle.

The radio choir and Justin Doyle offered a musical journey through various stories of escape and repression. The history of humanity has in times been characterized by contradictions and exclusion, and our time is no exception. The world premiere of the Lebanese composer Zad Moultaka’s –Mon Ami le vent- following a poem by Renée Vivien is just one of the highlights of this powerful concert with music for reflection and meditation.
