Requiem for a Resurrection
MUSICAL WORK
Requiem for a Resurrection
18′ – 2025
for orchestra, for ensemble & voice

PRESENTATION
“The desire to work on a requiem is inspired by the dark times we are going through, but the path to the work remains a quest for light. Here the texts borrowed from the Latin requiem mass are “pierced” by William Blake’s Cradle Songs, part of Songs of Innocence, poems for children speaking of the conflict between the corruption of the world and the innocence. » Zad Moultaka
