Fragments B118

FRAGMENTS B118

08′ – 2013
for choir

And I cried and I lamented when I saw the country, which was not familiar to me”

A string trio and a clarinet, spread out in space, reveal a melodic cell, each cycle of which, seemingly repetitive, shifts them to a sensation of tearing. The four instruments train each other in a whirlwind, until dizziness. A bass drum, far behind, calls songs, like shadows, aspiring to another world. The choir is hidden and crystalline sounds of componiums announce a new unreality.
