“In 2011, I ‘trapped’ Françoise Kubler in front of a camera asking her, without her expectation, questions about Armand Angster. I then wrote a piece ‘Armoise’, a kind of double portrait featuring Armand on the clarinet, in dialogue with a video in which Françoise delivers vibrant testimonies about the musician, the man, the companion and their deep relationship.

Today, ‘Moizart’ reverses the process; here Armand is filmed in his studio in Strasbourg surrounded by all his clarinets. He will tell us about Françoise who will in return be on stage talking to him. A work that could be called “double reverse portrait” and which will complete 10 years later, the diptych of a legendary couple, great defender of creation and of today’s music.” Zad Moultaka
