Quatre chants de guerre

QUATRE CHANTS DE GUERRE

11′ – 2004
for ensemble & voice

These four melodies written in November 2000, set to music extracts of “……? ……” by the Lebanese poet Nadia Tueini.
These pieces come from the tradition of French melody and contain, in places, transformed elements from Lebanese folklore.
