The Albrizzi family, originally from Bergamo, came to Venice in the 16th century. In 1648, the acquisition of the Bonomo family portion in this palace of Sant’ Aponal started, which in 1692 became the exclusive property of Gianbattista, Antonio, Joseph, Alexander and his son. The palace was embellished in 1771, and some houses that masked the facade of the space were destroyed, before the emerging of the Campiello Albrizzi.
