Oro Lucem – I pray for the light, is a work created for Centre d’Art La Falaise, Cotignac – France, visual and sound installation shining brightly in the middle of about thirthy works.

In Oro LucemI pray for the light, the third and final part of a triptych following Oro Tenebris and Oro Terram, exhibitions initiated in Lebanon in 2024. The metal leaf – that versatile, fleeting, dazzling material that can evoke warmth, clarity or protection – is replaced by survival blankets, extending a reflection on the troubled times we are living through. Throughout the interplay of light and vibration, the invocation of gold, fire or water plunges us into a mysterious and enigmatic space, a feeling reinforced by telluric music as if coming from the depths of the earth or from a space on the other side of the walls. Could there be something beyond our visible world?
