Mystère des mystères

Before and after the easel becomes a limit between two worlds of sound in Mystery of the Mysteries, piece designed for a cello and a guitar on the phrases of the tao:

I.
Both are one but by their names are different.
One which is secret,
mystery of mystery,
secret door of the mysteries.

II.
The being and the emptiness engender each other.
The easy and the difficult complement each other.
The long and the short are defined.
The up and the down meet each other.
The voices and the sounds agree.
The before and the after mingle.

III
.
It is empty, never the use fills it
Chasm without bottom.
It is the ancestral root of the multitude of beings and things …

We think of a music born of the interstices, in between the two sounds. The movements go from full to empty, from empty to full, from one to multiple and back to the unfathomable lair of mystery.
